Gladys has been sewing for over 50 years. Growing up in a small town in Cuba, she learned to make and repair clothing at a young age. Sewing was more than a skill. It was a practical way to help her family make ends meet and care for the people around her.
What began as necessity became a lifelong craft. Over the years, she developed the patience and eye for detail that come only from decades of working with fabric, fit and people.
